The online academic tournament consists of the same tasks as the traditional Lomonosov Academic
Tournament and is evaluated according to the same criteria (a participant may choose whether to take part in the online or regular tournament).
Award certificates for the online tournament are issued in electronic form; it is mentioned that the participation was online.

For participation in the online version of academic tournament a preliminary registration was
required.
Still you can register and observe tasks for this and previous years, however you can not submit solutions.

The Tournament started at 10:00 and finished at 15:00 on the 30 of September, 2012 (Moscow time)
For participation in the online academic Tournament you need to have a PC with internet access. For each
contest the text format of your answer is expected (the answer should be typed in a special window). You may
need to attach an image to your answer so you may need a scanner or a digital camera. Scanned images are
accepted only if they are sent in one of the following formats: JPG, GIF, PNG. No other formats are
supported.

Participation in the Tournament is personal, free-will and free of charge. No group registration is provided.
The online academic tournament consists of the same tasks as the traditional Lomonosov Academic

accounted on independent performance, using any additional source of information is strictly forbidden.
Participants of the on-line academic tournament must obey the same rules and perform their tasks
individually. Using any additional source of information (books, encyclopedias, media, internet etc.) is
strictly forbidden. Otherwise the work will not be graded.
The on-line tournament winners are awarded with certificates for successful participation, no
any benefits for on-line tournament winners are provided.
